Recompiling quiz programs

DenKor has experienced that exact same thing!  We'd always thought
it had something to do with our compile jobs (HP3000 5.5pp7) or a
SET statement left over from a previous compile.

Just as Jackie describes, the program compiles and runs just fine,
but no output - and recompiling solves the problem (we've called
these 'zero eof quiz files' - although I think the eof was greater
than zero).

I'd love to find a solution - it cropped up several times during
our Y2K recompiles (one a month for over a year as various dates
were fixed) - not really enough to place a call over, but an
annoyance just the same!
