Upgrading to VMS 7.1

Phil.

We certainly didn't have any PowerHouse issues when upgrading from VMS 6.2
to 7.1. As for recompiling; we didn't even recompile any native executables
but as PH code is not native but interpreted by the Quick/Quiz/QTP
executables there would surely be no point in recompiling them.

Subject: Upgrading to VMS 7.1

We are upgrading from VMS 6.2 to VMS 7.1. I have done some preliminary
testing and our Powerhouse (7.10.G1) programs seem to be running fine
without recompiling. I will be doing some further testing, but thought I
would see if anyone had encountered any problems with VMS 7.1 upgrade.

Also, does Cognos recommend a recompile of programs in this situation?
