Compiled Reports

I'm using Quiz 8.19.C4 to create a quiz report. The report is
generated via a ci command file that sets various variables. The
quiz report then calls these variables using the getsystemval in
the definition. The report is a multi-pass, multi-access report.

It works fine when I do a USE FILENAME. But as soon as I use the
BUILD command and then try to execute it via Quiz Auto=Filename
the report doesn't work. Couldn't find anything in the documentation
regarding compiled reports not being able to use variables, but I'll
be darned if I can figure out what is going on. Because the Quiz Auto
automatically exits you from quiz, I can't see the cognos variables
or what is going on with the compiled report.

Anyone have any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong? Any assistance
would be appreciated.
