PowerHouse WEB data connection

Not sure if this is what you want. To access a database via ODBC in
PowerHouse or PowerHouse Web on NT, you can either specify the name and
password through the ODBC Administrator, in the dictionary (via the USERID
and PASSWORD options of the FILE or DATABASE statements), or have the user
prompted for them. If the user is prompted, the values entered are used by
PowerHouse to open the database. I've tested this using QUIZ on NT but have
not tried it with PowerHouse Web, so I don't know if the user is actually
prompted at the Browser. However, for PowerHouse Web, the dictionary or ODBC
setting should provide the username and password since you don't want to be
attaching and detaching all the time.

Hello,

Does anybody know the correct syntax to imbed the DSN connection string into
the Powerhouse source code  to open up an ODBC data connection?

The idea being that the User enters a username and password which is then
built into the connection string. This is then used to open the data
connection.

Or is there a "cleaner" way of doing this?
