Try this...
Hide the redefines...display the original, note the output procedures at the
end.
field FIELD-1 ;etc...
hilite display off
;define the redefined fields somewhere obscure - they won't be seen
; set the selectbox at the same place for each...
field FIELD-2-R1 id same nolabel required if FIELD1 = "A" selectbox on
data;etc...
field FIELD-2-R2 id same nolabel required if FIELD1 = "B" selectbox on
data;etc...
field FIELD-2-R3 id same nolabel required if FIELD1 = "C" selectbox on
data;etc...
field FIELD-2-R4 id same nolabel required if FIELD1 = "D" selectbox on
data;etc...
hilite display default
field FIELD-2 display ; placed after redefs so will display result from
above.
;don't want to see the redef'd fields....so...
procedure output FIELD-2-R1
let fieldtext = ""
procedure output FIELD-2-R2
let fieldtext = ""
procedure output FIELD-2-R3
let fieldtext = ""
procedure output FIELD-2-R4
let fieldtext = ""
