Quiz Sortwork files

Morning Lorry!

We define the logicals "SORTWORK0" through "SORTWORK5" on a user by user
basis as part of the SYLOGIN. You can relocate your files this way (or at a
more job specific level).

Take a look at the dcl command "set rms/extend=?????" for some file size
control.

I'm sure there's a PH way to do what you need to, but this fits for us and
covers the non-PH applications as well.

Subject:	Quiz Sortwork files

Good Day,

We are running PH7.10.G1 on Alpha VMS6.2.
We have a number of users that when they run some of their quiz reports we
run into a temporary disk space problem. This is as a result of the sortwork
files that are created and then deleted once the job has finished.

I would like to be able to:
 - specify a different disk for these sortwork files
 - specify the number of sortwork files to use
 - specify the allocation size for these sortwork files

Or any other suggestions you may have.

Thanx
    Lorry
