I'm an AS/400 PH user - version 6.07F. It's a lonely world but there are many
of us
out there. They just need to come out of the woodwork.
My problem is this: I created a subfile in Quiz and then needed to run QTP to
do
some updates to the subfile. I'm getting the above error message on character
fields. I'm not updating any numeric fields-only those with the '*' are to be
updated.
I isolated them one at a time and all of them produces the error.
I tried playing with the numeric fields thinking maybe they're causing the
problem
enven though they're not being updated. In the initial creation of the subfile
in Quiz
the numeric fields are defined as Float*8. Changing them to Packed did nothing.
Changing them to Zoned created file size problems within the quiz routines when
trying to append to the subfile. Anyone out there seen this?
