Bad timing (Concorde)

I thought it was because, just like the Concorde, PowerHouse is a 30 year
old product that still goes like jack-the-bear (at least in the development
arena).

It's darned expensive to use too, and when you have multi-user license it's
quite restrictive (just like the plane only holding 100 people).

When it goes down the whole world reacts (anybody remember the "friendly"
VMS license daemon?).

You're right - the nose lowers for take-off and landing and straightens for
flight. It seems the BI side of Cognos looks down it's nose at us
application types too, but they gotta straighten out and give us credit when
it comes to building the apps in the long run.

I'm sure I could go on, but I'd best earn my pay...

(Its THAT, or the Concorde was the only cool image they liked in the
graphics package they used to lay out the slip cover...)

=8^)
