Date question

Hello to all,

	I have a question about subtracting dates. For instance I have date
20000601 and 19991130. I need to say that the second date is 7 months less
than the first. I know that I can use the days function but I was wondering
if there is a more precise way of doing this. Thank you for your help, this
list has been very useful for me. I am using ver 8.19 on an HP3000 running
MPE/iX.
