Hi Daniel,
Its quite a while since I've used subfiles to build transformer models.
However, I notice that you are using portable subfiles but transferring the
dictionary file as ASCII and the data file as binary. Both the dictionary
and data files of portable subfiles are ASCII, so I'd try your FTP again
using ASCII transfers for both and see whether that makes a difference.
Best regards,
Conrad

Subject: Portable subfile to autodesign model in powerplay
Hi everyone,
We have ph 710g1 on vms 7.2-1, i have created a portable subfile to use
in powerplay 5.21 transformer to autodesign a model, but it does not
seem to be recognising the subfile properly. I have ftp'd the subfile
to my pc as ascii for the dictionary and binary for the .ps, but
transformer is not finding the data classes and is coming up with
strange levels within dimensions.
Ive been told that we had the same problem with powerplay 4, and solved
it by using the qutil utility of pc powerhouse to convert the .ps to an
.sf and then back to a .ps, which transformer then recognised.
Has anyone had similiar problems?
thanks,
Daniel Miller
