Anybody using the Wedge?

The Wedge routine is designed ensure that PowerHouse interprets what comes
back from the operating system correctly on Feb 29, 2000. While not
supported or warranted in any way, it was tested in 7.29. As far as I know
it has been used for 5.09 and 7.09 by customers. What was the specific code
that you used? What was the item definition, and the global CENTURY
INCLUDED|EXCLUDED and DEFAULT CENTURY options?

Hello fellow PowerHouse people,

does anybody use the "wedge" as described on
http://support.cognos.com/supported/tips/wedge.html ? Due to problems with
installing the PH 8.19 on MPE/iX we tried to plug it into our existing 7.09
installation but still get data conversion errrors when setting the machine
to 29/02/2000 and performing sysdate function. I checked in the
knowledgebase and found some remark about the default century having to be
20 but this is OK for us. What could be possibly forgotten?
