Has anyone experience with a successful use of Xerox's VIPP
(Postscript page description language, PDL) with QUIZ reports?

The technique that I'm trying is to put the proper characters in the
INITIAL HEADING but have two different problems.

One is if I use SET FORMFEED, a control-l (^l) appears in the disk
     file for the report.

The other problem is a single space character appears before the
character string I've coded as a literal in INITIAL HEADING.

Either of these seem to mess up the PDL performance. If I edit the
disk report file by deleting the ^l and space, things work perfectly.

Creating a script to process the disk file is not a viable option at
this point. We want to use the native capability of QUIZ.
