If you don't want to do a define, you can do:
ACCESS PARTFILE
SELECT IF (0 NE INDEX(PART-NUMBER,"-"))
REPORT ALL
GO

Subject: Define Temp
Hi!
I can't remember how to define a temporary element to search items in a
database for a specific character.
I want to find all part numbers that have a " - " in them.
Anyone have the answer.
Thank you!
