What Chris has mentioned is the only way I have found to work, but if you
only have run-time, you can compile those first three commands to

Exec howmany
exec your-report nogo
use howmany.txt
go

ps you'll find you have to put the SPAC before PAGE LENGTH, on the hp3000

	We're running PowerHouse on a HP3000 system with MPE/iX as the
operating system. 
	 
	How do I suppress the printing of a PAGE FOOTING on a control-break.
The page footing displays "Statement continues...." for the same doctor, but
shouldn't do so when going on to a different doctor.
	 
	Also, is it possible to parameterize the number of copies printed by
a QUIZ report? The statement
	 
	set report device printer copies 1
	 
	only accepts numbers and not parameters. Is there some way around
it?
