I also fondly remember the "good luck" and "have fun" comments.  I remember
the first Quick manual had a whole chapter entitled "Rick's Handy Hints".
Can't get much more personal than that. ;-)

Oh, speaking of Quick, I also have what appears to be a paper that outlines
a new concept for a product called "Quick". It was written by Rick
Soderstrom and it is obviously prerelease Quick.  Quite a bit of the syntax
was changed before the first release I ever saw.

BTW Bob, was there ever a release of Quick prior to 3.01?  That was the
first version I ever saw, and I think I saw it pretty early.
