Dict 3000?

Its part of RAPID/3000 which also includes Transact, Report and Inform. In
the days of PowerHouse prior to 819 you were able to purchase an option
called QDDR that enabled you to use Dict/3000 instead of QDD.

If you don't have 729 or earlier AND you dont have Rapid then you can PURGE
THEM.

Does anyone know what function dict 3000 performed?  I am running PH819C2
but
have several dict 3000 databases on my system that my system admin would
like to
have removed if no longer needed.  Any assistance would be appreciated.
