If you disallow attachments, then I wouldn't have been able to send out the
OpenVMS differences list (which some of you may think a good thing :-) ).
However, as with any attachment, consider the source and content. In other
words, does the attachment make sense coming from that source. Actually, I'm
always suspicious of scripts and executables. Also, a good virus checker
will catch these things if you keep them up to date. Mine did (I use Mcafee
because it's the company standard).
Considering the types of things out there, it was only a matter of time
before we got hit.
