Using INFORMATION in UPDATE procedure

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestions!  Did and done and, to my amazement, working. 

I really didn't think the UPDATE would do a whole lot here, since this Quick
screen has no real output.  It has no primary file and just one reference
file.  All it's intended to do (note the careful use of words) is accept
four fields, call an Oracle SQL function, and report the status.  My
original intent was to have the Quick screen run a Quiz report to do the
reporting, but I couldn't figure out a way to pass back a status without
writing two shell scripts (one dynamic, created from the other), a Quiz
report, and a QTP.  It was just simpler, faster, with less to break in a
single Oracle SQL function.  Sorry, folks...  :(
