Hi Dave,

Under the assumption that you have a sizeable number of records, I think that it might be the sorting phase, that consumes your CPU-ressources.

I have noticed (using Glance), that when PowerHouse passes its QTPSORT to HPSORT, the CPU-consumption of the QTP-process increase steeply, much more than I would expect, judging from its priority/queue. It seems as if HPSORT is not restricted by the priority of its mother process.

Maybe somebody from Cognos or HP would like to comment on this.
