Cluster Alignment in QDESIGN

Definitely been down this road, but can't remember how I solved it!
You're right though, It'd be nice if it considered the screen limitations
base on the fields and not on the cluster statement.
For want of a better suggestion...here's a few
Change the align to place the ID in column 2 (or shift the data
fields left 1), which frees up the columns you need for the linedrawing,
then use a little highlighting to differentiate between the ID and data
which will of course be hard up against each other...i.e
align (2,,4)(,,16)(,,25)
HILITE ID HALFTONE
HILITE DATA INVERSE
or something...
You could also pack the fields themselves and hilite them
differently.
HILITE DATA INVERSE
field t-fld1
HILITE DATA OFF
field t-fld2
HILITE DATA INVERSE
field t-fld3
One more, you could make one of the fields scrollable and reduce the
length displayed..
field t-fld1 for 1,10
Not the ideal solutions, but maybe something useable.
