7.10.G3 Subfiles

I'm currently testing for any differences in subfiles between 7.10.E6 and 7.10.G3.  The client has a number of subfiles that are extremely larger and wish to avoid recreation during the upgrade.  Does anyone see anything wrong with keeping the subfiles which were create under 7.10.E6 for use with 7.10.G3?
