Double Duty Screens

Many thanks for all the suggestions. My apology for not replying
individually to those that sent private e-mail.

The conditional compile suggested by several people helps with the source
code maintenance although does not reduce the number of screens listed in
the menu(s).  I haven't made a final decision however I'm leaning using the
preupdate procedure to trap the users not allowed to make changes and to
use the initialize procedure to put "read-only mode" or some similar text
on the screen title line for the users that are not allowed update access.
