SQL access error in SQHOW

G'day all
I am working with a client using PH 7.33D3, HP/UX 10.20 and Oracle 7.3.4.
When using QSHOW to display the table names in the Oracle database, after a
few records we get the error:
*E* SQL Access Error (ORACLE@...)
It was thought there was a problem with the use of synonyms in the database
but I'm sure I've worked at clients using synonyms before without this
problem.
Can anyone shed some light on this please?
