Cognos Tier Licensing

James,

We were shocked when we discovered that changing our powerhouse license to run
on an HP3000/918 rather than an HP3000/967 cost $2,500. This is not a typo. I'm
hoping Cognos will revisit this fund raising activity soon. The highest charge
we saw from other vendors was $150 for the same license change. To their
credit, however, Cognos waved this charge for us when we changed the license on
a single copy of Axiant, which was appreciated.
