I presume that you are using the "refresh all" option when you are calling
the sub screens. If not try it. If this doesn't work then I suggest you log
it with Cognos.

Many years ago I had a Cobol menu which had to call Quick Screens ... can't
remember the exact commands used. If you know how to start a shell script
from Cobol then just put the "quick auto=......." in the Cobol command.
