PH 8.13d problems

The largest problem with the blob datatype is that a blob with a null value 
will cause PowerHouse to abort with a fatal error.  Cognos has implemented a=
 
fix in 8.13d1 that works in Ottawa but does not seem to work at our site. 
We 
have implemented a workaround in the application code. 
 
Quick will also set alteredrecord status when you enter through a blob field=
 
(not promptok).  This causes all sorts of nasty problems.  There are also
some 
problems with quiz and reporting blobs that cause PowerHouse to abort.  I am=
 
running against a tight deadline at the moment and have not had time to 
isolate or report these problems to customer support.

Could you elaborate on the blob problems? we were hoping to be able to use
this
data type in this new version. Which database are you using?
