Migration 5.35 to 8.19

Check the online knowledge base at www.cognos.com for migration/upgrade
issues. 
Ensure you cover o/s specific issues as well. 
5.36 was built on MPE/V ( G2P I think ) while 8.19 was build on MPE/iX 5.5.
You've been running in CM mode and will be switching to NM mode with 8.19.
You will now have support for more file systems and may want to look into
them. 
Chances are you've been running with a QDD dictionary and will be converting
to PDL.
There are differences.

My suggestion is that you convert to pdl in 5.36 - work out the quirks -
then bring the applications over one by one.

We are about to make a leap... maybe of faith. At least it will put it to
the test, well who know...

We are about to move from v5.36 to v8.19 (when ever we get it) on MPEiX. Any
known problem that we should be aware of? Beside QDD to PDL (or PHD I'm not
sure).
