Adding a new index to an Image set

Default procedures won't have the information on the new index. Specifically
the PATH, FIND and DETAIL FIND. So if you have a screen that for example
uses the dataset as a PRIMARY, you won't get retrieval by the new index. Of
course, if you're overriding the defaults or using ACCESS statements, it
won't matter. PowerHouse uses standard IMAGE calls, so IMAGE should take
care of most of it. However there are no guarantees. While you shouldn't
have to recompile everything, recompiling those screens that use that
dataset and the corresponding master would be prudent.

We need to add a new repeating index to an existing image set, the item is
already defined in that set and is now linked
to a new automatic master. Initial testing, with the new phd, the modified
d.b
and without recompiling anything, shows that
everything is working fine (adding, finding and deleting records). As this
set
is used by almost every program here if we
can save ourselves recompiling (and testing) the lot that would be great.
So, is anyone aware of any possible problems ?
We are using PH7.29 on H.P.
