Date Functions

NULLSEPARATOR is available on HP-UX in version 8.13D. And no, I don't know
of an easier way (although there may be one), which is why we introduced
NULLSEPARATOR.

I need to produce a report with a number of different dates included. No
problem so far.

The dates need to be in the format mmddyyyy with no separators. This is not
a problem under VMS as I can use the NULLSEPARATOR option but this is not
available under HP-UX. The only way I can get Unix (7.33.d3) to do this is
to change the date to ascii format and then swap the portions around. Simple
enough method but very long winded with fifteen dates (so far) to be
reported.

Does anyone know how I can do this easily.

BTW our Fine Manual does not help ...
