VMS features in PH

Good morning

As long as we are doing 2 cents worth:

1. We use PHD/POW interactive dictionary management for about 90% of our
dictionary changes. We can and have used PDL but a PDL file that is 69,000+
lines long makes it a lot less desirable.

2. We could probably get by without mailboxes but we have them in just a
few areas that would be hard to replace.

5. Something that would read and write job logicals would be be a
convert/no convert issue for us. We also use symbols on occasion, but about
95% is logicals in the job table.

6. Reverse is quite handy for breaking up strings and we have used it
several places.

We don't use command status, all-in-one, set job, timestamp and backwards
(although I would like to have the backwards capability).
