BIIIG difference between 7.09 and 8.19. We have a bunch of code that
started failing because it was blowing off the QUIZ internal stack, but
they didn't do it under 7.29. I'm sure that Cognos changed some sort of
default behaviour between the releases, you should really contact their
support service to find out.

Bob,
Sorry, I guess that would be useful to know!
Our live system is an HP3000 969 MPE/iX release C.55.00. Powerhouse
version is 7.09E.
Our test system is an HP3000 917 MPE/iX release c.55.00. Powerhouse
version is 8.19.C3.
Hope this helps. Thanks.

We have something strange that just started to happen on our Y2K
test
system. We have some QUIZ programs that build streams in a disc
file
that we then stream off. The following syntax is used -
SET REPO DEVI DISC SPAC 0 NAME <diskfile name> NODUPLICATES
NOVERIFY
HOHEAD NOWAIT
This has always worked fine and still does on our live system.
However,
on the test system it won't save the disk file under the
<diskfile
name>. It gives the following message -
This file has been saved as $OLDPASS.
Any ideas?? Thanks in advance for any replies.
