I have to second (or third, or whatever) the suggestion that Cognos seriously consider putting the functionality of the online dictionary maintenance back into release 8. Having worked with the product since the early Quasar days on HP's, it was such a joy to work on DEC machines that had this feature. I haven't worked on HP systems the last few years primarily for that reason. 


I only hope I can retire before my clients can convert to release 8.


IMHO, it's "one step forward and two steps back"
