PowerHouse Dictionary

Run QSHOW.  Point to you QSCHEMAC that you want to convert from.

>SET LANG PDL
>GENERATE ALL
>EXIT

This will put the results in a temporary file called QSHOWGEN.  My
experience on large dictionaries is that it is better to build a Fixed Ascii
File 80 Bytes and then file equate QSHOWGEN back to the new file with and
Append option.  It has been years since I have done this, and I am trying to
remember what issues there are.  I may have missed something minor, so there
might be a little playing around that you need to do to get your exact
requirements.

Take a look at the GENERATE command, it can be used to also extract a subset
of files to do development work, or to integrate data access from third
party applications.
