		G'day Ian

I think it has to do with the amount of memory has been
allocated to QUICk screens. I remember seeing this problem several years
ago on a system running 6.10e. I can't remember if the screen memory
parameter is in the QKGO settings or QUICK process settings in VMS.

Sorry I can't be more specific.

mystery ?

We currently have a Powerhouse system running on VMS
7.1 and Powerhouse 710g1.
We have a screen that is used to action recursive
updates. It does this by
calling a subscreen in a While Retrieving loop. The
problem we have is that on
a random basis the top level screen bombs due to
the error - *d* Screen levels
overflow. Increase the QKGO Screen levels parameter.
The QKGO parameter is
currently set to 15. Having done some debugging it
seems that the lower level
screen is only ever called at level 5.

Does anyone have any ideas ?

			Ian Brooks.
