A little light relief

Some of us who worked for Cognos UK in the 80s will remember one
of our many competitors in the Vax market -

 Rapid-Gen systems anyone?

They were quite credible for a while and got a few sales.

Any road, the company was fronted by a couple - Richie & Margaret McGladdery.

The papers this week have had current details of Margaret, always considered
the main power,
who now calls herself Margaret Moore, lives in the South of France and had an
affair with (gasp)
 Geoff Boycott.

The judge has called her an immoral and dishonest woman for making off with all
the
assets and loot from the now-defunct company and leaving the ex-husband in the
lurch.

There aren't many surviving products that competed with PowerHouse in the
 80s, are there? Whither Rally?
