Is your TZ variable set correctly?
do SHOWVAR TZ for me it shows
TZ = PST8PDT
then do SHOWCLOCK, for me it currently shows
SYSTEM TIME: FRI, JUL 9, 1999, 2:06:08 PM
CURRENT TIME CORRECTION: 0 SECONDS
TIME ZONE: 7 HOURS 0 MINUTES WESTERN HEMISPHERE
Typically your timezone value in showclock is wrong. Powerhouse gets one
value from the hardware clock for time and date, and one from the software
clock. I
forget which one is which, but it leaves the possibility of have the date
be wrong when the time is right.

Subject: Powerhouse reporting incorrect date
We are running Powerhouse V8.19C2 on an HP3000 Mpe/IX
OS 5.5 Patch 6. Today we found that Powerhouse
(QUIZ, QUICK, etc) is reporting a day ahead of
the actual system date. We used the following
code:
DEFINE dt NUM*8 = SYSDATE
If the system date is 19990709, it reports 19990710.
We're not sure what is going on. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
