how to make DEFAULT CENTURY be the current century

Actually Speedware will assume all parts of a date that are left out, that
includes the month, year, and century. This makes data entry of dates very
fast and easy Inserting the current values if not supplied is a very
logical method of dealing with date input. I don't even understand what
argument you are trying to make about century. Remember the premise is
that the century is inserted by the software for the current value if not
supplied, it can always be supplied by the user.

I guess Speedware assumes that one is born and died in the same century!
Same goes for ANY date range, mortgages, resumes, education, medical
histories, etc, etc. I bit short sighted I think.

this seems like an incredibly juvenille hack for such a mature and
expensive product. Are you saying that PowerHouse can't
automatically
supply the value of the current century into a date by default?
Speedware
does this without a thought.
The premise is that a user can input a century if they wish to, but
if they
don't to default to the current century.
thanks
