Range of numbers

Thanks Michael

Actually what I meant is that QTP has the habit of LOCKing the primary file
in the ACCESS statement for READ/WRITE. In order to prevent users being
locked out during the creation of the subfile, a file or table with a low
hit rate should be used as the driver. E.g. an archive file.

No you're not stepping on my toes at all. I am not perfect nor do I profess
to know ALL about PowerHouse or the BEST way to achieve a result.
Constructive criticism or correction is always welcome so I appreciate your
feedback.

ACCESS some file or table with lots of records but little
use

Just to clarify a bit here. I think what Blue means is lots of
records with little use to this program. It doesn't matter what the data is
used for as long as you select a file with more records than you want your
counter to be. Therefore if your counter, as suggested, needs to go from
1-999, you need to select a file with at least that many records.

Hope I'm not stepping on your toes, Blue-I just thought this
required a little clarification.
