Ph 8.19 Manuals

Hi Georgia,

The CD-ROM version of the PowerHouse Books which you received with the
initial
8.19 shipment is in fact the generic set of manuals for all PowerHouse 8.1x
releases. The first CDs were apparently mislabeled as being for OpenVMS --
sorry for any confusion this caused.

There should also have been a note accompanying the 8.19 shipment stating
that
the MPE/iX specifics were being added to the PowerHouse Books CD-ROM, and
that
this updated version would be shipped to all MPE/iX customers when
available.
In the meantime, you should continue to use your 7.29 manuals for any MPE/iX
specifics. The CD you have does contain the "New Features For Year 2000",
which
are in all PowerHouse 8.1x releases, and the "Upgrade Guide" which is MPE/iX
specific.

The new version of the PowerHouse Books CD-ROM, which includes the MPE/iX
specific syntax, is almost complete...just the final QC stages to go. Then
it
will be distributed to all 8.19 users.

To answer your other question, the manuals are now only shipped on CD,
although a printed set is also available on request at extra cost.

I have not received any 8.19 manuals.  All I did receive was the Open VMS
version on CD.   Will we receive manuals for this version or are the manuals
now on CD and must be printed by us if we want printed versions.  When will
the HP3000 of 8.19 CD be available.  Will it be shipped when it is done?
