Learning Powerhouse 4GL

If you haven't had the official training, I *strongly* suggest
you try to get it. Not just 1 course, but at least 1 of their
intermediate courses as well. Every time I've seen programmers
try to learn it from the manuals, even very good programmers, the
result has been a lot of bad Powerhouse code.

RE: books, try to get the session notes from the annual Cognition
(or whatever the heck they're called now) users group meetings.
They're expensive (~$100) but the early ones, at least, had a lot
of good stuff in them, beginner and advanced.
