VMS, PH 8.20, PH web

Hi Chris,

I just asked this question to Customer Support some week ago:
Here's the answer they told me at 23th november

	"PowerHouse 8.20 for OpenVMS is presently in manufacturing and should be available for order in about 2 weeks.  
	General shipping will probably be end of December/early January." 

What kind of database are you trying to access with ODBC? We can access an Oracle 7.3 RDBMS with SQLnet as well as with ODBC.

Wasn't PH 8.20 supposed to be shipping around now ? (The version with the
VMS-specific essentials reinstated, + support for PH web) ?

I've just been all round the supported customers' site (many times, it's all
very circular), and I can't find any shipping dates anywhere.

Incidentally, anyone use an ODBC for OpenVMS ? Any joy with the Easysoft PDL
convertor ? Any other gotchas (I got got, I'm just wondering how
widespread/obscure a problem it is).

OpenVMS Alpha 7.1, PH 7.10G3.
