A question for anyone out there who may have gotten Powerhouse Web to
work in a VMS environment.

We cannot get to 1st base with it at all. The 'despatcher' keep
crashing with a VMS Access Violation. Have tried lots of different
things, (under instructions from Customer Support in Sydney Australia) ,
but no success. If there is someone out there who has gotten it to
work, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you. We're keen to evaluate
the product, with a view to using it in the immediate future, to expand
the functionality delivered by our current Powerhouse applications.

We're in the following environment:

	VMS (v6.2) running Powerhouse 8.20B
The Powerhouse Web version we have is 1.20B

Have tried it with both NT-based web server (Microsoft IIS) and with
VMS web server (WASD)

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

On another issue.
Here's one in support of Cognos:-
Further to the thread on the license daemon.... We are running more
than a dozen Alphas of various descriptions(either VMS 6.2 or VMS 7.1)
at sites in Australia , New Zealand, USA, Canada. All running Powerhouse
v710G1. ( some with 60+ concurrent Powerhouse users (thanks to Chris
Sharman's DCL which analyses the daemon's LOG file).... We HAVE NOT HAD
any problems at all with the Flexlm license manager program !! Perhaps
it's because we're running Alphas that are basically stand-alone, and
the license manager does not have to use DecNet to get at data files ??
Whatever it is, we haven't had the problems that various people seem to
be reporting.

Thanks,
