G'day Chris

You could create the headings in the first line of the subfile using a
prepass and then in your main QUIZ run, append the actual data to the
subfile.

Subject: Quiz (VMS) Reporting long lines (for Excel etc)

I know this is an old chestnut, and I know there are various
workarounds.

I'd like to suggest it as an enhancement request though: more and more
reports
are being requested for Excel, and the limit of 255 characters is a
serious
pain. Unless anyone has a patch for Quiz, or knows an Excel line
continuation
character ? Subfiles are all very well, but they don't have headings in.

Chris
