We have maestro here running in the background finishing jobs and displaying
messages on the PowerHouse screen when it's done. Why in this wonder UNIX
operating system are messages being displayed wherever the cursor seems to
be.
Why not line 24? Looks terrible and hitting cntl-w all day is a pain.
Does
this apply to all broadcast messages. What types of OS messages go to line
24. I would think they do or are supposed to. In UNIX it seems some do -
some don't. We are going to put a huge system into production very soon and
there are going to be a lot of bewildered users when they get this garbage
all
over the place and not on line 24.
