Does anybody have experience of the following problem?
I installed Power2000 on a PC that already had Impromptu (version 4). The
assessment of source code had taken place on a different PC with the results
(Assignments, Exports, etc) being copied to my PC.
Because of initial problems I removed version 4 of Impromptu and installed
version 3.5 from the Power2000 disk. When I tried accessing the Assignment
Worksheet report the program failed to load Impromptu, giving the following
details
RealObjects Execution Error Details
Error 429 not handled by user defined error handler
Scripting Error location information
Line number 385 of module [B ]apmPower2000
Line number 60 of the procedure callImpromptu
Object creation failed
I've tried deleting Impromptu, Real Objects, and Power2000 and reinstalling
but get the same result. As a test I've installed Power2000 on a colleague's
PC. Although this does give database errors, it does at least load
Impromptu. It therefore looks like some kind of environment difference that
results in the problem, but I can't spot it and so far Cognos support
haven't come up with anything successful.
Any help on this is very welcome.
