Thank you all for the feedback.  I got the reports working OK.  Here is
what I found out for anyone who's interested:

1. In the COGNOS.INI file change the [databases] section for the P2K
database to be:

P2K=;LOCAL;BD;P2kReports@@@

2. In the BDE configuration utility set the PATH for P2kReports to the
directory where your project is (local or LAN drive) and save the
changes.

3. Run Impromptu independently from Power2000 (i.e. avoiding the
RealObjects scripts), open the Power2000 Catalog then the reports to
run.  DON'T access Impromptu from Power2000 again or it will reset the
above changes.

On the resoureces issue, from the feedback I got most people have the
problem when using a machine with less than 64MB RAM.  I switched to a
bigger machine and now don't get the problem anymore.  Both machines
were using standard colour schemes and Windows98.
