I replaced the P2K reference in the INI like you said and got past that
problem.  Now I get the following errors:

Error number -3989587:

DMS-E-GENERAL, A general exception has occurred during operation
'prepare request'.

Does Power2000 expect the database to be on the same machine/drive as
the Power2000 install?
