You've misunderstood ;-)
7.10 in general, and 7.10.G in particular, is I understand a VMS-only release
containing the Y2K enhancements: all other platforms have to wait for V8. Hence
the slightly confusing nature of general announcements.

Once you've got to PH 7.10.G[1] & VMS 6.2 or better, you're all set up.
Both the default century & the default century window are read at run-time from
the dictionary every time.

I've set all my 7.10.G1 dictionaries to:
	system options allow century input century 19 from year 70

I don't expect to have to do anything else for century rollover before I retire.
