Steve,

I can add one thing to the discussion.
You can normally exit a screen by 2 methods:
1. Type "^"  (i.e. SHIFT 6) followed by <RETURN> key, or
2. Hit F10 (or what ever other function key you specified for your system).

Now, if you use method 1, this is recorded correctly in the QKECHO file. If you
use the more common method 2, it is not!!! So in this case all your key
sequences are going to be out of whack.

Please check it out.
