Whoa! Are you saying 7.10.G1 is SHIPPING? I'm still getting blitzed with
fliers from Cognos telling me to upgrade to 7.10.G. Are any re-comps needed
from 7.10.G?

Subject: Minor gotcha in 710G1
The PHDCONV routine uses an FDL file to convert PHD01.
The FDL file specifies file protection World no access. This overrides the
default protection mask and any ACLs which may be set up, resulting in a
dictionary protected against reading by ordinary mortals using Powerhouse.
It can be fixed by deleting the offending line from [710G1.PHD]710G01.FDL,
allowing the protection to default. 710G & earlier does this correctly.
The alternative, obviously, is to mend all your dict01.PHD files after
you've
converted them.
I did report this problem to telesupport when I saw it on a pre-beta, but it
seems to have made it through to the shipped version anyway.
